In this feelgood foodie comedy, young Manhattan chef Samir rediscovers his heritage and his passion for life through the enchanting art of cooking Indian food. A visual and aural feast, Today’s Special concerns Samir’s hopes of becoming a fully fledged
chef in his boss’s newly opened restaurant. However, his plans begin to crumble and Samir decides to suddenly flee to Paris in order to work for free with a famous Parisian chef. Starring Bollywood legend Naseeruddin Shah and acclaimed chef Madhur Jaffrey this delightful story is replete with heart and humour throughout.The Director will introduce the screening.
